Akshay was last seen in the period drama Samrat Prithviraj, which released in June. His other release of the year was Bachchhan Paandey that came out in March. Akshay’s final two releases did not carry out nicely on the field workplace and it seems to be like his followers aren’t leaving something to likelihood this time round.

Reflecting on his two film releases that failed at the box office this year, he added, “This has happened several times in my career… Ups and downs happen in everybody’s life. Already, a man puts in everything in making a film and after that doing the publicity of that film that too takes a toll.”
